ictoria Kelly was a performing artist in New York who wrote and produced mixed-media theater for many years. Her lifelong passion for movement began at age 12 when she started doing yoga from a book she found at her grandparents house in Charleston, West Virginia.  She graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and once in New York became heavily involved with the Gene Frankel Theatre Workshop. As a modern dancer, she continued developing movement themes in her work and led classes across a range of movement media, as well as traveled and performed internationally.

Victoria has been happily residing in Oakland for fourteen years where she has also been a writer and a publicist. She is certified in pilates instruction through Turning Point Studios in Walnut Creek, CA. She also teaches at Club One; the Hills Swim and Tennis Club, and the Bellevue Social Club.

Core Cat’s mission to bring abundant movement - joyful and pain-free – to all people and Victoria’s classes are founded on the principles of inclusion and flexibility of form.

My goal is to bring out each client’s connection with their own strengths. It’s really all about that connection. Which is why it’s so personal.
